Ferret bting my boston terrier

Question
Ok.. so I know ferrets like to play around and wrestle, and I do this with them as they play with each other. but we got a boston terrier who is 4 months and about 13 to 14lbs.

I wanted to know why when i let me female ferret and the 2 male ferrets the female is the only one that will go and weasel dance around the dog but then will sniff until it finds the back of the puppys neck and latch on and start to shake agressively... of course the puppy just sits there kind of in fear... why does she attack, is it playing and will it hurt the puppy should i discipline the female or just let her?

Answer
I am not sure why she is attacking, but I would be careful.  Terriers are not always the best playmates for ferrets since they were bred to hunt.  As a puppy it may sit and take it, but if the Boston decides that enough is enough, you may have a problem.  I wouldn't discipline the ferret, she is doing what ferrets do, but I would never let them play without supervision and I would remove the ferret as soon as she gets rough with the puppy.
