butt dragging

Question
The ferret I am talking about is about one year old and healthy. He first goes to the bathroom then he gets out of the litter box and drags his butt on the carpet. Should I be worried or is it normal.

Normal - every ferret does it. Put a newspaper there so he doesn't ruin the carpet. You can change the newspaper daily and keep it clean. Ferrets don't generally get worms.  If you see him scooting when he's NOT just gone to the potty, then I would be concerned, but as long as it's just after a litterbox run, then it's okay & very normal.
