Bleeding and Panting

I have a 5 year old Standard Poodle. She is not fixed and has had regular cycles all her life. She was just in season in April and it was very short 2 to 4 days. It is June now and she just started bleeding 2 days ago, very heavy at first now light. But the blood is very Dark and creamy. She is also panting and breathing very fast all the time. Could this be something more than her being in season?

Hi. Dofs can experience what's called a split heat. It's when a dog starts her heat cycle, stops, waits awhile then starts again. This could be what's going on. However, with the panting and such, I would get her to the vet to see exactly what's happeneing. Good luck.
