Answer
Hi Lisa

Silent or split heats are common, but after 2 years, I'm certain you would have noticed something.

At 2 years old and she hasn't come into heat I would do the following.  Change some of the lighting in your home to full spectrum.  These bulbs can be purchased at Home Depot or Wal-mart.  The seasons play a huge part in Nature and inside dogs don't always get the exposure that outside dogs get.

What kind of food is she on?  I would put her on a raw diet or a good quality kibble and supplement with fish oils and vitamins.  The oil EFA-Z is excellent and can be purchased from a vet or on-line.  I have seen it first hand work on females that haven't come into heat.

And finally, I would take her to the vet for blood work, check her thyroid and blood count to ensure that everything is functioning as it should be.

Good luck
