my dog is having pups for the 2nd time. She had 8 the 1st time my question is will she have more less or the same the 2nd time around?

Well that's entirely up to Mother Nature.

A female is born with all the eggs she is ever going to produce in her lifetime, unlike males who can produce millions of sperm a go round.   It depends on how many eggs her body released during her season.
