pomeranian.

Hi,

A friend of mine asked me to groom her pomeranian. She told me that she wants her dogs fur to be cut, but not too short so that her dog can still look like a pomeranian. She doesn't want to cut too much off. I have 1 clipper and it adjusts to size #10-#15 and thats it. Since she doesn't want too much cut off I know I should use a snap on comb, but what size snap on comb can I use on a #10-#15 blade so that the fur doesn't get cut too short.  My snap on combs size that I have are 3/8 cut, 1/4 cut,1/2 cut, and a blending snap on comb. Please help.

First of all, you don't have a professional clippers, so don't expect a professional job. I wouldn't use anything under a 1" comb for the pom, and depending on your clipper, you may not be able to get a 1" for it.  Usually home grooming does not turn out well. I have "repaired" many home grooming jobs. My best advice I can give you is leave it to a professional.
