Question
I took my dog to a groomer. The groomer said she needed to shave him to take out his knots. Since I've taken the dog home, he runs away from the floor to the carpet or sofa. He lost his energy. All he does is lay down or sleep. He used to love to play and run. He is only 10 months old. He doesn't walk straight. He sticks out his stomach out to the side when he walks or even when he tries to run. his hind legs seem like they can't freely move around like they used to. What happened to him?

I think I would do some investigating here. If this happened right after the grooming, there could have been some kind of abuse going on.  I have seen groomers abuse dogs.  Sometimes, the dog may nip because pulling on thos mats hurt!  If I were you, I would take him to a vet, have x-rays done if necessary!  If that groomer has somehow abused your dog, then you need proof and I would sue.  This makes me so mad.  She could have drpped him, or hit him. I hate to say, but some groomers are mean to dogs.  Now,this may not be the case, but that's why you need to take him to a vet and find out if any injury has taken place.

God Bless,
