foot infection

Im not sure if you can help me but my dog has got a very hard bit on the bottom of her paw it feels and looks like a stone.  It is causing her to have trouble walking and she keeps licking and chewing it. Sometimes some of it has fallen off but it keeps coming back.

Hi Laura,

Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian, so she can get diagnosed and treated. Otherwise your dog will continue to lick. The area will become larger, more painful, possibly infected, and take longer to heal.
