allergy free dog?

Hello, I have three dogs now a lab, JRT and BT all three shed i think I've got allergys that involeve pet hair I will be checking that out really soon but I was wondering...I'd love another dog next year are bichon/shituz crosses non shedding or would they bother my allergys as well? my mother has two my allergys arent sneezing or watery eyes I have been taking reaction alergy pills for months now on and off I get hives. not sure if you can help me but thought it'd be worth a try.

Thanks for the question. Are you allergic to the hair? It is out of my expertise but I have read that most people that are "allergic to dogs"  are really allergic to the dander produced by the coat, not the hair itself.

Some breeds produce less dander than others, hence these breeds are often labeled as good choices for people that are allergic to dander. Other than poodles, I don't remember  other breeds that were listed in the article as breeds that produce less dander.

The best thing would be to spend some time with any breed/ cross you are considering and test your allergic reactions.

It's been years since I read the articles. I may be all wrong! :)  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
