socializing puppy

I was wondering where I could socialize my puppy (he's 16 weeks of age). He's currently enrolled in puppy class... but I was wondering if there were specific places I could go for free to socialize my puppy.

Everywhere! Socialization does not mean JUST interacting with other dogs and/or people, though it's good to do that to an extent. Socialization is simply exposing the puppy or dog to all kinds of environments. Taking him for short (20-30min) walks each day around your neighborhood, the park, around the playground at a local school, etc. is one thing you can do. Another is taking him to stores and places that you can bring him in with you.
