my 4 yr old shih tzu

tonight on our nightly walk, she was very scared of a man that was standing along side the road. She had just previously had her nightly bowel movement which was normal. Upon seeing this person she was very scared and immediatley had diaherria. since then she is panting heavily and has thrown up foamy liquid (not much) She is also shaking.  What could be wrong.  I also noticed tonight that she has a small pimple on her side; it is hard to the touch.  Can you give me any advice???

Hi Helen,
That is unusual to have such a severe reaction to seeing as stranger.  It makes me wonder if something was coming on anyway, and her fear accelaterated it.  If she continues, she should be checked. Same goes for the pimple you found. It may be a very small tumor that is non cancerous, but should be removed all the same.  A check up with your Vet may be in order for both of these problems.
