mama has very little milk

Question
My shih tzu just had puppies today and she doesn't have much milk( feeding a supplement) is there something I can give her so she can produce more? She's 5 yrs and it's her third and last litter.

I just keep plenty of water and food down for the bitch. The milk often doesn't come in for 2-3 days as the first 24 hours it is just colostrum. The nursing should stimulate the milk to drop, but keep an eye on the puppies, weighing them, etc. If they start losing ground, you will need to take over and start tube-feeding (or bottle-feeding) them every two hours.
