Question
Do you know of a good home remedy for dissolving dog waste or know anyone to ask?  My father has buckets with the bottoms cut out in the ground he puts the poop in and he says he just has to relocate the buckets that the poop doesnt dissolve naturally. Hope someone can help! Thanks very much!

Answer
Hi Jennifer.
The poop[ will compost in time, but unless it is a very large bucket, and/or he has more than one dog, it probably fills up faster than it can compost.
After you move the bucket, and cover the hole with dirt, the poop will in a few weeks compost.
We have 4 dogs, so there is more thn we care to put into buckets, so we pick it up with a pooper scooper, and put it in a plastic bag in the outdoor trash can, and it goes to the landfill when the garbage is picked up.
I know of nthing that will help it disolve or compost faster.
