Question
How to give a marrow bone to a dog cooked or uncooked? Are they any good for them to have? If not what would you give a 7 month old puppy? thank you for your time Kris

Answer
Thanks for your question.  Are you talking about like table scrap bones...if so then cooked would be the best.  I have never heard of cooking the marrow bones that you buy in the stores so I wouldnt recommend that.  Marrow bones are wonderful for dogs of all ages as long as its not poultry bones.  Poultry bones will sliver off and get lodged in the puppies throat.  But rawhide bones are also a great way to keep your puppy content and help  clean there teeth.  They also help to develop strong jaw muscles.  Hope this helps.
