Question
I have a male Yorkie who is the father of the puppies next door. They were born this morning. We will be having one of the puppies but are unsure what sex to have. Will our dog get on better with another dog or a bitch? If we have a bitch is there any chance they will try to breed being father and daugter?

Answer
Hello, And congrats on having the stud to a beautiful yorkie litter. First I can say two Unnetered Male dogs will fight and there can be blood shed they would bare constant watching. And dogs have NO issue with mating there daughters at the first sign of a heat cycle..the same as brother and sister would inbreed as would mother and son this is all very bad overly close inbreeding and can result in gentic flaws in puppies. If you take a  female getting her spayed will eliminate this problem and they will get along just fine....but trust me they *Will breed together no matter how nasty you think it is....dogs just don't care.
