Question
Hello, I have 2 shar-pei dogs one is tan and the other is black they came from the same litter they are sisters. my problem is manly with the tan one she shedds alot you can even pull the hair out and leave a bald spot she also has blisters on her front legs. I have taken her to the vet on this issue alot, I have even changed her food they are both on an all natural diet, it is from the pet store. But it is still not helping. She is constatly scratching to where her skin looks raw, do you think that she might need vitamins or she might have som allergys? Any advice you could give me would be great.

Answer
Thanks for your question.  First off I would take her to your groomer and request a deep coat conditioning.  This will help so much you probably wouldnt reconize her.  Now as far as the raw spots go cover them 3 times a day with vasoline and then patch it.  If you notice her scratching at it or you cant get the patch to work then I would pour peroxide on it and this will make it smell different and also not taste good for her.  Pour that on b4 you apply the vasoline.  You will notice a heck of a difference.
