Abandoned mommy dog

Question
I found an abandoned dog last night.  She has been feeding puppies & her breast/boobs whatever you call them are swollen large and they are so big that in the middle there is a liquid oozing out.  She is also so skinny her ribs & hip bones are poking out of her skin.  We found the puppies homes last night.  How do I get her boobs to shrink so that air will get between them & air out.  She is eating and drinking ALOT!

Bless your heart for rescuing this dog.  She was obviously starving, and trying to keep her puppies fed! You didn't say, are the pups still nursing?  If so, then let nature take it's course. She will feed them and when they are weaned her nipples will shrink.  If she is not feeding them, then take some warm washcloths and lay them on the swollen areas to help relieve the pressure.  She needs to see a vet.  She and the pups are probably wormy too.  Thank you for taking this poor dog in and feeding her.  You are an angel.  I wish there were more people like you on this earth!
