10 week old Male Chihuahua

Thank you for your previous answer to my question.  We have worked out a schedule for feeding Charly but unsure if we are doing the right thing for him.  We are feeding 4 times a day, about 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp at a feeding at 6 a, 10 a, 2 p and 6 p.  Is that a good schedule?  Can he do ok without a feeding from 6 pm until the next morning?  Also, we have been having excellent success at crate training, and potty training outside.  BUT, we have all been home due to the holidays, and must go to work and school next week.  If we leave him in his crate from 7am until 2pm with a break around 10:30 a.m. ( my grandfather lives with us and he can let him out for a potty break and some food) will he do ok?  thank you for your help.

I have had good luck leaving Labs that age 4-5 hours in a crate.  A Chihuahua? I am not in a position to say, but likely it will be OK.  Same on the meal time, go ahead and cut out the late evening meal.  May even be able ot cut back to 2 meals in another month.
