Changing from outdoor potty breaks, to indoor?

We have a great little Mi-Ki four year old male. He came to us at 6 months trained on a potty pad. In our infinite wisdom, we easily retrained him to go outside. Now we are moving to a high raise condo..........after unsuccessfully trying here at home, "how do / can we retrain the little guy to start using a potty pad again.

I have never done that, and can't say if it can be done.  At 4 years old, he will be more difficult to train than at 6 months.  Try putting the pads near the door and directing him to the pads when he signals he needs to go out by going to the door or otherwise.  If he eventually uses the pad, lavish praise on him.
