When should my Pomeranian get get her first menstrual cycle she is 13 months and hasn't had one. Just a little concerned about this.

        Well some dogs will not get their first heat cycle until they are 18-24 months old, especially the small breeds. Also, some dogs will have a silent heat (is fairly common), where they go threw all of the hormonal changes of the cycle, but doesn't bleed or show any other obvious signs of a heat (sometimes they will act a little different, but not always). So, it is very possible that she has had a silent heat and it just went unnoticed. Well I would just slip this by to your vet when she has her next check-up. Or if you very worried then I would advise seeing your vet or calling up your vet. Good luck and don't worry!
