feeding a puppies and adults

Hi, I have 2 adults (5 years and 1 year and 2 months)chihuahuas mix and 2 puppies (2 months)chihuahuas mix the adults eat beneful from purina but I see that this food is not good for any dog and for the puppies they are eating royal canin but they are expensive. What kind of food do you recommend me for each stage and just think about it the puppies they going to be adult so I'm going to have 4 adults and I do not want to give them a bad food or an expensive food. I'll appreciate any advice.

Hello royal canini is highly reccomended yes its expensive but think how much they really eat...is it really going to be that expensive to feed the best? Also feeding a cheaper food normaly means the dogs will eat more so price ends up about teh same anyway. You can try purina one, purina puppy chow is crap to put it softly, purina pro plan is better yet, there is Authority from petsmart stores its good quaility and fair priced.
