AKC vs CKC

I have a full blooded miniture schnauzar but he is CKC and I was wondering if there was a way that I could have him AKC registered.

Answer
No, he can only be AKC-registered if his parents were. He can, however, get an ILP number (indefinite listing privilege) with AKC in order to be shown in AKC performance events (obedience, rally, agility, earthdog); he must be neutered for that.

I am assuming that you are referring to the Continental Kennel Club and not the Canadian Kennel Club.
