Baby

Question
I Recently had a baby and now my dog carries around a stuffed horse from build a bear. She cleans it as if it were a real puppy and carries it around slowly and getley I was just wondering if this is a normal behavior for any dog to do after a new baby has come into the house

Answer
There are lots of ways for dogs to behave when a new baby comes into the house. It might've kicked in some maternal instincts and since your dog can't mother YOUR baby she's mothering her own 'baby' :).
I find it sweet and definitely wouldn't worry about it
