pet bed materials

Question
I'm not an Eco crazy but it makes me nuts when i have to buy the pet bed cover
to get the insides (covers are still in great shape it is the inside pillow that is all
bunched up and lumpy) any suggestions on where to get the inside pillow for
the pet bed without waste of the cover? or, alternatively, what contents would
you suggest to make my own -  not that there is that much 'spare' time in my
life.....

What I use are just regular human pillows they seem to stand up for a really long time and you don't need covers with them-I have used them with my dogs for years

I also use a couple big square pet beds that are just like a huge human pillow and they seem to last a long time as well and I find them at petstmart

If you use a human pillow make sure though that it is cotton and not feathers
