Chances are poor that anyone would want to use your male at stud since one can breed to the best dog in the country for a fee. Very few champions get used to any extent.

However, what you need to do is to have all the appropriate health checks done.... eyes examined yearly by a veterinary ophthalmologist, thyroid and brucellosis tested, DNA-testing done for various health issues, etc., and then start working and putting some titles on your dog to prove that he is superior in conformation (championship) or in performance (obedience/rally, agility, earthdog). People want to breed to a stud dog with as few genetic health issues as possible who can offer something to their bitches (structural improvement, working attitude, etc.).

And do be aware of the fact that once you start using you boy at stud that he will probably start marking in the house. Most breeders with stud dogs keep them segregated because of this.
