Buying a Yorkie and Rott

Hello!  My Husband and I are interested in buying a Female Yorkie and  Male Rott.  I have a few questions...Should we buy them together as puppies?  Will they mate or should we buy the same sex?  Is there a such thing as a Rott and Yorkie Breed?  Also, we plan to have children soon.  Should we wait until after our first child to purchase the dog?  Please let me know!  Thank you & God bless you!

Well if you get them fixed as recommended by both vets and humane societies you won't have to worry about mating,and usually doesn't matter if you get all females,all males or one of each-I have had mixed sex dogs and because they were fixed they didn't think about mating

No,there is no breed that is a cross between a rottie and yorkie,and in fact all of these designer 'breeds' that are out there now,are nothing short of scams-they charge a ridiculous amount of money more then many purebreds when you can get that same mix at an animal shelter and for a lot less

You don't need to wait if you don't want to-as some people do like to have the dog before they have there first child,but others prefer to wait until the child is a little bit older,so that choice is more of a personal one                      

And because of the size difference,it would be a good idea to buy them around the same time,as puppies
