Question
Hello,
My name is Kristen and I am having an issue with my dogs. I think I'm more worried about it than I should be, but what can I say, I just love my pets. We have a 10 month old fawn pug girl who was our baby and our love up until this weekend. We got a black pug girl who is 12 weeks old. Everything seemed fine the first night and they were happy. The next day my older puppy started to be like "ok she's saying?" and started to back off a little and to me she seems to feel neglected. I admit she is a spoiled girl but my husband and I just love her so much. My question is how do I balance both of them because the new puppy needs so much attention and training, but I really don't want my other dog to feel left out and not loved. Please help me! :)

Answer
Well the best way for them to get used to each other is to just let them sniff each other for a while, and also pay a lot of attention to the older dog,so she won't feel left out

Activities such as taking her for walks on her own,as well as playing with her on her own then slowly let the puppy in on the play time-then the older dog may see the puppy as fun,and won't be jealous
