puppy concussion

my min pin puppy is 8 weeks old. we went to the park and he was hopping around like normal. he hit his head really hard on a metal park bench. he yelped alot and i took him straight home. he's sleeping right now. should i be concerned about a concussion? what are the signs of a concussion in a puppy?

I'm sorry it took so long to answer you, I was hospitalized recently and got very behind in these emails.

By this time, you would have noticed any long term effects, such as confusion, "drunken" walking or lack of depth perception, ongoing pain, excessive sleepiness, etc. If you are seeing any of these symptoms, I suggest a vet visit immediately.
