I dont think my dog is eating right

I have a boxer and she inhales her food.  but since we got her spayed we cant keep any weight on her. we have even upped her food. i just dont know what to do because she is skin and bones! do you have any advice?

This could be several things.  Have you had the vet check a stool sample for worms or other parasites?  sometimes you won't see anything and OTC remedies may not work.  

How much are you feeding her.  Most dogs that size need 3-4 cups of a meat based chow.  Some may need more.  It sounds like you should have no trouble getting her to eat more.  I was once given an under weight Lab and had no trouble getting her to eat the 7 cups of Pro Plan it took to put enough weight on to hide her ribs.  

Do you think you need to slow down her eating?  There are not one, but 2 easy, tested, effective ways to control it. You can spread the food out on a cookie sheet or something. Some of my friends just throw it on the floor of the crate. You can put large rocks in the food dish, much to big to swallow. Either way, the dog can't gulp down one big mouthful after another.
