I am thinking about buyint a 9 week CockerS. and I know they can get sick. What types of illnesses are often with this type. What would be the best insureance for this dog?

All puppies can get sick, you need to check to see that the puppy already got it's first set of shots, look for diahrea or snots in his nose or eyes, watery eyes, ears should be clean, butt should not be swollen, tummy should not be swollen, put your ear against his chest you should hear clear breath sounds, you shouldn't be able to see the pups ribs, check for fleas, ear mites look like ear wax, fleas leave little black spots like pepper. Pup should not have a cough or feel hot. I don't know about insurance's. I always worked in the animal field so expenses were not high for me, you may want to submit allexperts again to ask about dog insurance to another expert. Cocker's are good but some times a little snippy with children, and they pee when excited. Hope I answered what you were looking for, good luck choosing your new pup.  Angela
