Our terrier gave birth to five puppies 2wks ago. And now they have fleas. If we give the mother brewers yeast with garlic will the pups benefit from it since she is nursing. Should we do something else? Thank you so much

Linda,  in future if you breed your pet, two weeks BEFORE SHE IS DUE, put ADVANTAGE  NOT  ADVANTIK ON HER  this will keep her and pups flea free for about two months (unless you are infested).   Now you need to bathe the pups in mild citrus or apricot shampoo.  Water it down and then take a flea comb and get them off the pups.   Fleas kill puppies by literally sucking the blood out of them causing flea anemia.  I have used Advantage for years on my pregnant bitches;  as always, check with your vet, but I have used it with no side affects to pups or mom.
The yeast may or may not help,  It usually takes time before it goes into the system, as much as 3 months. By that time you can use regular flea medicine on all.
