Question
is it alright to breed a 6 yr old english bulldog that has had 3 litters?

Answer
Kathy-

How recent where these litters? How far apart where they? Is the dog in general good health? has she had all her proper genetic testing? Has she been on good prenatal care to prepare for breeding? Has the intended stud had all his proper genetic testing?

A little more information is needed before I can tell you if it is safe- but if she is 6, has had 3 litters spaced out appropriately, (For instance, one at 2, one at 4, one at 5...) has had all genetic testing, is in good health, has been on prenatal care, is a proper specimen of the breed, and you have read up on all of the possible whelping problems with bulldogs (almost all of them require c-sections because the heads are too large to pass naturally) then...yes, it would be safe to breed her.
