Smelly and Scabs on shih tzu

I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu who has always had allergy problems.  We feed her the best dog foods and also use tar shampoo on her to stop the itching.  Recently, she has become very smelly and also she has gotten many scabs on her back that even an allergy shot did not get rid of.  What other things can I do to help her.  Our vet says to keep giving her baths but it hasn't helped.  She also has black body grease that I can't get off.

Also, let's stop that shampoo and I will refer you to some others that will be much better.
Does your girl take any vitamins or supplements?
