Question
Hi Kathryn,
My name is Gail Cox. I live in a residence for ederly or disabled people. I am 48 yrs and have
Multiple Sclorsis and confirned to a wheelchair
I have have several poodles in the past. My last, Mignon, had to be put down on Aug. 22,2003.She had a tumor growing on her spinal cord and the vet recommended putting her to sleep.I have been heartsick ever since, she was my best friend, always there for me. She licked away many tears. I would love to have another poodle to love and spoil. I am able to take excellent care along with my Vet. Dr. William Jones. The probleem right now is finances, I live only on Social Security, so things are very tight. I was hoping maybe you could help me find a neww best friend to love and spoil. Thank you for and help you can give me.
Sincerely,
Gail Cox

Answer
Hi Gail,

Let me give you a place to begin searching online:

http://www.centralpoodlerescue.homestead.com/

Another thing you might do is check your local newspaper for the "free" ads (i.e. 'free to good home') and your humane shelter.

The webpage I gave you above is the central site for poodle rescue organizations.

Warmly,

Kathryn
