poodle hair care

Question
My girlfriend shows dogs and her poodles hair is a little dry. What can she do to get the hair redy for the denver show. Please help it would make her so happy

Hello,
Try using some oil on the dogs coat.  You can feed your dog some sardines in Olive oil which is good for the coat and skin, you can apply a teaspoon of oil (Olive is the best, canola and vegetable is fine, corn could upset the stomach).

You can also use a product from Sally's Beauty Supple called Cure Care Conditioner.  It is great on the show coat.  You can use it wet or on dry hair (diluted in water and sprayed on the coat).
They have a spray-on conditioner called Spray-On Glosser that also adds a gentle shine to the dogs coat and is great for just "...Just before the Ring...".
