Question
our toy poodle buster is always scratching its ears. What can be done

Answer
Hello Michael,
Your dogs ears probably need to have the hair inside of them pulled.  Proper ear care in Poodles is a must.  Poodles can get ear infections, yeast infections, mites, and a number of other Ear problems due to the ears not being cleaned regularly.  Your Groomer should provide cleaning when your dog is groomed.

If your groomer won't clean ears, have your Vet do it.

If you would like to do it yourself, you can buy ear powder that will help you grasp the hairs and pull them out.  You can also buy an over-the-counter ear cleaning liquid that you can put in the ears, then use a cotton ball to wipe out the remaining liquid.

This should help you some.  If you have other questions for me, please feel free to ask.
