FRONTLINE TOP SPOT

I have a 4.8# white poodle which I bathe once/wk. Because of bathing so often, is it safe to use Frontline in 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks?

I can't say.  I have never used Frontline.  I think all the modern creams and drops are absorbed into the dog's body and do not wash off.  I went over all this with my vet a year ago before settling on Revolution for my dogs.  I like the only a few drops and degree of protection for my one old dog with flea allergies.  I wish I remembered more of the details.

If you must bath the dog weekly, be sure to rinse well and use a conditioner.  Otherwise it will end up with dry skin and itch worse than from fleas.  If fleas are the problem, you should be able to see or feel dark, reddish specks at the base of the tail as bath time approaches.
