QuestionHi,
I writting because I'm in the process of purchasing a tiny toy poodle. The poodle is 5 months old and has been updated on her shots. My question to you is what type of questions should I ask her before puchasing her? Is it a good idea to purchase her at that age? or Is she to old for me to be purchasing? What exactly should I expect from the poodle at this age?
Thanks,
LaTrina
AnswerI don't always answer questions in the order they come. I think your other question suggested you were going ahead with her. How well it works largely depends how she has lived since she was 6 weeks old. If she has been in a kennel with other dogs, it could be a struggle. If she has been living in the house with the breeder, she may adjust to living in your house fairly well. As I indicated in my other answer, check on food. You can get a better guide to health problems of small poodles at www.akc.org than I can give you. You might also ask how she indicates she needs to go out or if she is on a schedule.
