A question about my poodle

I have a toy poodle.  A breeder told me he gets his males neutered because they are at high risk for testicular cancer. Is this true?

Testicular cancer isn't a common Poodle ailment. However, if the Breeder has had previous males who had testicular cancer then this will give any puppies conceived from this line a increased risk of contracting cancer later on.
