Pit Bull size

My wife and I adopted a Pit bull puppy who was 4 to 5 months old on Feb. 14th and he weighed 39 pounds.  Now May 6th he weighs 45 pounds.  We are wondering if he will gain anymore weight.

Yes, he is around 7-8 months old and still growing.  Pit Bulls are usually at full height by 10 months, but will continue to fill out until about 15 months of age.  At 1.5 yrs he will probably be his full size.  There is no exact size for Pits because the bloodlines vary a lot, but the breed should weigh from 40-60 pounds.
