Male Pit with skin con
I found a few abandoned and emaciated pit bulls a couple of weeks ago (2 puppies and an adult)on my street. The adult male is white and has some type of rash down the center of his back that is very rough, and he has hair loss in this area, around his neck, and in spots on other parts of his body. I bathed him in oatmeal shampoo, but I have no idea what this rash is or how to treat it. I need to do something to help him get better so hopefully someone will adopt him. Can't afford a vet.
AnswerWynne - Oh, it was so nice of you to take this boy in! Is there any way you can call around and ask if they can give you a VET discount because of this Adoption situation... The vets may find some compassion and help you for free.

this will help if the area is yeast.... Very low cost and found at most Walmarts/ Health and vitamin Department....
