Question
hi i just adopted a pitbull from a animal shelter. she is 1 and already had puppies. she stopped breast feeding about 4 weeks ago and is all dryed up. my 1st question is will her breast go back up? or is she always going to have breasts flopping around? second question is the day after we adopted her we noticed a rash between her breast she scratches it all the time and its really red. we called the animal shelter and they said it could be fleas. but she don't scratch any where else just her belly. is there some thing i can buy over the counter to put on it?

Answer
Hi - the breast area will go down in time.  As for the rash, it may be yeast and you can use some supplements for this:
Give her some benadryl 50 mg at night ( 2) 25 mg pills.
During the day she can have (1) 25 mg benadryl.

Give some Probiotic - you can get this at Walmart or the supermarket - give her one per day /( Acidophilus ) it will say 1 Billion CFUs - this is a healer for yeast and helps the gut.
Low cost

If the area  doesn't get better, with my suggestions, you may want to see your local vet.

Order some NuVET Plus skin and coat healer - this is one of the best Bullie vitamin / supplements around..
Will heal the yeast infection or your money back-  Call tomorrow and order some NuVET wafers - get a 90 count and give her 2 per day - this was last you 45 days.
Go onto auto ship and they will give you a 15 % discount on every bottle of the NuVET wafer treats.
1-800-474-7044 Call JOAN at ext 265 - she will help you with the order and send it out right away... It will arrive in a few days right at your door.
Only about 1.00 per day for the NuVET program / This is an immune system booster, too!
