feeding newborn puppies

when and for how long should i let a newborn-1 month old puppies feed for? should  i let them eat until they stop and is it bad for the mom if they feed for to long? any other tips would be good.

Hi there,
As i have never taken care of a bitch that has delivered i do not know much about this subject.

However I believe it is not your responsibility to decide how much the pups need to feed, but the mothers herself. And i think that excessive feeding could hurt the mom. As long as her nipples do not appear to be bothered or an abnormal color she should be fine.
