Blue Pit

Question
I have an 6 month old Blue nose and would like to know the ideal weight she should be.  Right now she is 44lbs.  Is this over or under?  Thanks

Cannot say, because I cannot see your dog & Pit Bulls vary in size greatly.  Blue is just a color, not a bloodline or type.  Pit Bulls are 35-50 pounds because all the bloodlines are different- some are huge with big heads, some are smaller and short.  Ideal weight is body condition where you cannot see dogs ribs but you can feel them if you lightly press, and the dog is muscular.  6 month old puppies are usually not overweight, they are growing and need to be fed 2-3 times a day.  Vet can also tell you.
