Stomach Spasms While Eating

Question
We have 2 yellow labs, one is about 1 1/2 and the other about 2 1/2. The younger one has always had this eating problem that the other does not. When she eats, if she eats even a little bit fast, about half way through her food she will run away with her stomach convulsing or spasming. Her mouth will lather, and she will walk in circles, lay down, stand up, bark a couple times then it just seems to stop and she runs back to finish her food. It appears as though she is in some kind of pain through all of this which is not good. Sometimes the convulsing will not go away and she will end up throwing up the food she just ate only to eat it again. My wife and I have tried to only feed her a little at a time to help it which most times seems to help, but not always. Sometimes it will still happen. I have asked our Vet which really has no idea so far.
Our other dog eats so fast I call her hoover. She has none of these symtoms and eats 10 times faster.  Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!

Answer
There has been more than one Lab named Hoover for that reason.  Problems from eating too fast are common, and easy to solve.  The feed only a little was a good start, but you can also spread the food out on a cookie sheet or something. Another technique is to put large rocks in the food dish.  Either way, the dog can't ge one big mouthful after another.  Some of my friends throw the food on the bottom of the dog's crate.
