what is the best food

i was wondering what the best kind of food would be good to feed my 8 month old black lab he is very lazy right now i feed him pedigree and abot 5 cups a day he seem to always be hungery

For food with no by-products in it and over all a good food I think 'nutro natural choice' is a great brand, 'tecnical' is good also they are however much more expensive then pedigree, the cheaper foods have mostly fillers in it by this I mean they have corn and corn by products in them and these are hard to diejest.
