Question
I found a stray dog and boy is she great
I took her to a vet for a check up.
so far no one has clained her
she is 99% black and has one small white spot and one small brown spot. Because of those spots does that mean that she is probably a mixed breed not full lab? Either way if no wants her shes a keeper

Answer
Hello David and thank you for your question,

Yes it means she isnt pure bred, No pure bred lab will have white on its chest don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.... labs are soild colors never spoted or patched. Lab crosses offen have the white patch on there chest if there crossed with shepards or heelers some lab/golden ret' crosses offen have this patch there also. As long as you can not find the owner go ahead and keep her but I'd try making a few posters her around the neighberhood or on the net or locale paper.... if I was looking for my dog and someone had her and was planning to keep her without a word I would be extremly upset and frusterated I'm sure you can understand. Anyways Have fun with the little girl(no too little thou eh? lol), if you mneed info on diet or anything else later on don't hesitate to ask.
