trembling

Question
I know trembling is a given but is there any thing that you can do or give the dog to help the trembling? It happens to my JRT while just laying there, in no connection with running, sometimes.- will it turn into joint problems? Thanks for your time, Wendy

No, I haven't ever heard it turning into a joint problem. I know it looks heartbreaking and you just want to stop it but there's not really much you can do.
I cover my dog with a blanket and it seems to help to have that weight on her - or my hand on her flank works too but obviously you can't just sit there all day.
If you're really worried about it, maybe you could take him/her to the vet and they might have another suggestion. Like I said before if it gets worse, definitely go have him/her checked out - but at this point it sounds like he/she's just a shaker. I think it hurts us more than them!
