One year old English Style Jack without energy

Question
June 8th Alex turned one year and she has been laying around a lot, not showing enthusiasm to play or run (which she loves to do and she isn't interested in her food?

She usually full of spirit. running and playing?

Any ideas?

Hello Ted,
I'm not sure where you live, but the mosquitos are out in full force at this time of year. You should have her seen by your veterinarian and tested for heartworm, and lyme disease - both of these can zap the energy right out of your dog. Also at this time of year all the plants are in bloom including mushrooms and dandelions which can be toxic to a dog. A good work up and tests by your vet would be the safe thing to do. Good luck!
