Is,nt true that the Name Parson Terrier only came about,after The Jack Russell Terrier Club Of America Won the right keep the name Jack Russell Terrier in Court,Because they belive useing the breed to do what it was breed to do do.And that is HUNT!So AKC Cound,nt use that name,And they came up with Pason Russell & Shorties ETC..

No, the JRTCA certainly didn't "win" anything -
There is so MUCH confusion over the name JACK RUSSELL TERRIER, and there is no easy way to explain it.  If you want to get the facts straight, my best suggestion to you is go to Wikipedia and look up Parson Terrier and then Jack Russell Terrier and then Russell Terrier.  One true fact remains and that is the shortie, best known nowadays as the "Russell Terrier" was the original and there would be no other "types" without this one.
